Background and campus

MDCGS is part of the Malik Deenar Group of Institutions, an educational network established by the Kasaragod Muslim Welfare Association (KMWA). While the wider group traces its origins to 1972, Kannur University lists the graduate studies college itself as having been founded in 2014. The campus is located at Seethangoli (Bela P.O.), Kasaragod, Kerala, with facilities including computer laboratories, a library, seminar halls, sports activities, and student organizations.

Student life and focus

The college promotes a holistic campus experience through organizations such as the National Service Scheme (NSS), tourism-related activities, sports coaching, and community engagement. It also emphasizes placement preparation, counseling services, scholarships, and career guidance. Recent institutional updates highlight new academic programs, skill-development initiatives, and achievements in university-level football competitions.

Location and recognition

The college is located in Seethangoli, Kasaragod, rather than the Thalangara neighborhood itself, although it belongs to the broader Malik Deenar educational network associated with Kasaragod. According to the local business listing, it operates on weekdays during daytime hours and is listed as an education center. Malik Deenar College of Graduate Studies
